What is PCI DSS?

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a comprehensive requirement that must be obeyed by all companies that conduct business using debit and credit card payment methods, regardless of the number of transactions or the amount of the transaction. To comply with all PCI requirements, it is necessary to complete the annual PCI self-assessment and network observations every 3 months.

3DES is a three-layered data encryption algorithm that is used to secure data sent to the server. This algorithm plays a role so that the data that is sent becomes unreadable by other parties than the parties concerned. By using this algorithm, transactions at Prismalink will be more secured.

Three Domain Secure (3DS or 3D-Secure) is a security protocol in conducting transactions online to confirm (data authentication) to the card owner by sending One Time Password (OTP).

When making a transaction, 3DS will direct the card user to fill in the OTP that is sent via Email, SMS, USSD in a separate page. This process is commonly called Verified by VISA (for VISA users), MasterCard SecureCode (for MasterCard card users), j / Secure (for JCB card users) and Safekey (for American Express card users)

Prismalink has used this 3DS protocol, so that all transactions made through Prismalink are highly guaranteed, because every transaction that occurs will be reconfirmed to the card owner.

MD5 is a hashing algorithm or data randomization that is usually used to ensure that the data sent is not changed or replaced by people in the middle of the process. MD5 usually used to form a signature of the data, so the server can be sure that the data is not changed. By combining 3DES and MD5, the security of data transaction at Prismalink has been double-checked and very secured.
